The Governing Body
The Chair of the Governing Body is Mrs Sue Nyman. The Vice-Chair is Mr Daniel Album.
The Governing Body has 17 members.
The Foundation Governors are appointed by the Yavneh College Trust. The Headteacher is a governor ex officio and the remaining Staff Governors are elected by the staff of Yavneh College. The Parent Governors are elected by Yavneh College parents. 10 of the present Governors have children at the school.

The Governing Body has a number of committees:
Admissions Committee
This committee reviews the Governing Body’s admissions rules and makes any recommendations for change. The committee ensures that the consultation process is carried out in accordance with the Admissions Code of Practice, applies the admission rules and advises the Local Authority of the ranked list.
Curriculum Committee
This committee, with the assistance of the Headteacher and other staff, monitors and evaluates the delivery of the curriculum, identifies priorities for the School Development Plan, agrees statutory targets for pupil attainment and monitors pupil achievement.
Finance Committee
This committee approves the annual budget, considers regular financial management information in order to monitor spending against budget and to ensure that expenditure remains within prescribed limits, assists the bursar’s office with the collection of voluntary contributions and advises the governing body on financial matters.
Personnel Committee
This committee considers those matters which relate to the employment of the staff of the school, including recruitment; pay; performance management; continuing professional development; staff capability, discipline and grievance.
Premises Committee
This committee considers those matters which relate to the school premises and grounds, security, health and safety, accessibility, travel and lettings.
Strategic Planning Committee
This committee is comprised of the Chairs of the other committees. The committee approves the Strategic Plan for the school and monitors progress against the Plan.
Yavneh College Trust
Yavneh College Trust is the charitable company responsible for the running of the Academy. It has a strategic role in running Yavneh College but delegates the management of the school to the governors. The Trust's responsibilities include the following:
- Setting the religious ethos of the school and ensuring the ethos is maintained;
- Raising the funds for the Jewish Education both formal and informal;
- Raising the funds for the security of the school;
- The construction of the school buildings
